Protect one powerful pirate for the end
Claim Treasure Chests worth 10 gold
Capture Enemy Ships through daring Conquests (optional advanced mode)
Avoid the Plague—or cure it before it costs you everything
The Twist
Your final card isn’t played to win a trick—it’s stored as treasure worth its rank in gold. The pirate you protect all round may be the difference between victory and defeat.
But beware:
Spies can steal treasure mid-round
First Mates bring Fool’s Gold if they get too ambitious
Captains earn bonus rewards
The Plague can shut down your ability to store treasure entirely
